Free pattern - Mountain Valleys

This SoGrizz pattern was inspired by the fabulous Donna Jordan, at Jordan Fabrics. In this youtube video of hers she is making a quilt (Shiny and Bright by BASICGREY for Moda Fabrics) that uses a very unusual block (go to 8:38 in the video).

I had never see it before, and it sounds like Donna found it surprising too. I have recreated that block in this SoGrizz pattern using a slightly different method, which leaves less waste.

I call it the Mountain Valley block. And this is the Mountain Valleys Quilt.
It uses a light and a dark colour, with a contrasting background fabric. I show a few colourways below, to give you some ideas:)

I hope you like the resulting quilt, and that the pattern is easy to follow. Please do let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements. I am particularly interested in hearing if the fabric requirements are correct. I always find that quite a difficult calculation!
